ONLINE PARENTING CLASS
HARMONY AT HOME
Five Weeks to Clarity and Connection
with Elisabeth Stitt of Joyful Parenting Coaching
FOR PARENTS OF KIDS AGES 2-9
IS PARENTING HARDER TODAY THAN IT USED TO BE? YOU BET!
In fact, I have 4 reasons I think parenting is a significantly different ball game than it used to be. And addressing those four challenges are the basis of the Harmony at Home program. Address those challenges now while your children are young. Provide leadership and be the architect of your family.
GIVE ME 5 WEEKS, AND I'LL GIVE CLARITY, CALM AND CONNECTION.
ARE YOU READY TO START TRANSFORMING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR KIDS TODAY?
This ONLINE, interactive class makes it so easy!
ONLINE COACHING GETS YOU THE SUPPORT YOU NEED.
Parenting is a 3 ringed circus, and I think it should be that fun! By building a firm foundation--first as c0-parents and then with the individual child--family life can flow harmoniously, freeing up time for the best part of parenting--connection and enjoying time spent together. This course is perfect for families of young kids, 2-9, who want to establish good systems, routines, habits and relationships while children are still eager to be a part of the family.
Now is the time to build. Every day you put this off is a day caught up in chaos that could be calm.
Why join a group program and not just read a book?
My husband would probably break out in hives before he would join a group coaching class. But growing up in India with extended family all around him, parenting conversations happened regularly over family meals. Unlike most of us, he had direct contact on a weekly or even daily basis with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. When he needed advice, he knew exactly where to turn. Even I have shared the benefit of having my mother-in-law live with me. I have often sat down at the kitchen table with my parenting woes and walked away with greater clarity and calm. I wish all parents could have that kind of support. That is why I created the Harmony at Home program.
With this program you will
•Create your Road Map by getting clear on your goals and priorities.
•Make a plan for how to engage every family member in the work of the household without nagging, yelling and arguing with your kids.
•Parent the unique child you have in front of you--recognizing and building on his special gifts--rather than the child you think she should be (or wish she was)
•Incorporate a light-hearted and playful approach that speaks directly to your kids as kids and gets their cooperation so there is more fun and joy in the house even as you move through your day to day routine.
What if I don't have the time?
My favorite kinds of parents are the proactive kind. They are the ones who make the time, who recognize that the time and energy they put in now will free up more time and energy for actually bonding positively with their kids. AND IF YOU REALLY CAN'T MAKE IT? Don't worry. Each week I will send the slide deck for the online class as well as a recording of me going through the material. I hope you do make class as it is interactive and fun, but it is not mandatory.
Convenient
You can download the zoom app and get it on your phone, which means you might be participating in class while coming home from a last minute grocery run! I get it. We work in things however we can.
Flexible
Can’t make every class? Can’t attend the whole hour? No worries. Every class will be recorded and sent to participants with a copy of the slide deck.
A One-on-One Coaching Session
Over the course of the program, I will do a one-on-one coaching session with each couple to help identify problem areas and set key goals for the program, making the investment a fabulous value for a group class.
Private Facebook Group
The Joyful Parenting Coaching private Facebook Group (not to be confused with the public one) gives you a safe place to share triumphs and tribulations, to ask questions and to connect with other parents. This is your village! I am on Facebook all the time jumping in with my years of experience.
Why This Program Now?
One, parenting is tricky and it is not going to get any easier by magic. Some problems of the earlier years settle out as children move into the school years, but some don't. Building a strong foundation while kids are in preschool and moving towards elementary will help families weather the next stage. Even if things are going well now, you don't know when a crisis--a move, a lost job, an illness--will strike. A family already feeling stressed and chaotic falls apart completely in such circumstances. Families that are operating from clearly articulated values and expectations where the kids feel like an integral part of the family pull tighter together.
Reason Two is that many of the support groups people used to have, are no longer available. People are busy. Many have families far away. One of the best supports there is, is having a group of parents to travel the road with you. Getting help will make you more effective. That will save time, energy and angst. By committing to 5 Online Sessions, you provide yourself the structure that will keep you committed to really examining your goals for your family. Imagine having sunny send offs to start the day and serene sleeps to end them.? What are you waiting for?
Why with Elisabeth Stitt?
In twenty-five years of teaching, I taught Kindergarteners through 12th Graders. Close to 3000 students and families later, I have a sample size that is bigger than most scientific studies. That really means I have seen it all. All kinds of kids, all kinds of families. (My own experience includes being divorced, a single mother, remarrying and blending a family.) Working with families all over the world, I know all parents are walking a long road. LET ME BE YOUR GUIDE!
Don't Miss This Fantastic Program!
“I was more than thrilled with the program, and [my husband] was equally happy I convinced him to participate with me. The webinar section of the program provided really great ideas and discussions, and gave us a good outline to figure out what we want to be as parents. The one-on-one conversation gave us a number of specifically tailored ideas for our current parenting stage.” --Heather P.
