Play is so critical to children’s development, and most kids are getting a lot less of it than they used to. In the second half of the workshop, I teach no-equipment, cooperative games that parents can use with their kids to engage their imagination.

By playing the games with me, moms get concrete tools they need for interacting more playfully with their kids, even as they move through the routines of the day. Although some of the games are more useful with verbal children, the playing of the games invites parents to start incorporating play and playfulness with their little ones right from the start.
